Martin Eagan

Martin Eagan is a top attorney, devoted family man, active community member, and proud New Jersey native who brings heart, humor, and purpose to everything he does. His journey is rooted in a deep commitment to education, tradition, and service—principles that were cultivated early on and continue to guide him today.

Martin’s academic path began at Delbarton School, a rigorous college preparatory institution where he gained not only a strong foundation in academics but also a sense of character, discipline, and leadership. From there, he attended the College of the Holy Cross, a respected liberal arts college known for its emphasis on ethical leadership, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Martin’s experience at Holy Cross deepened his intellectual curiosity and further inspired his commitment to public service. He went on to earn his law degree from Rutgers University, where he refined his analytical skills and broadened his understanding of justice, advocacy, and the impact one person can make. These academic experiences shaped Martin into a well-rounded, values-driven leader who continues to give back to the community that raised him.

Beyond his professional career, Martin’s life is deeply rooted in service. He has served as a Scoutmaster for Pack 66, a Merit Badge Counselor for Troop 74, and a volunteer at Table of Hope, a local food bank supporting families in need. Years ago, he opened his home to a child through the Fresh Air Fund, providing a week of new experiences and warm memories. As a Delbarton class representative and active supporter of the Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Martin remains closely connected to the traditions and institutions that have shaped his life.

Currently, Martin bartends at Tavern 73, where he enjoys engaging with members of his community and listening to the everyday stories that bring people together. He’s also a proud member of the Lake Valhalla Club in Montville, NJ.

At the heart of everything he does, Martin is a family-first man—proudly married for over 23 years and the father of three amazing children (ages 20, 18, and 17). Whether mentoring, volunteering, or simply sharing a laugh with neighbors, Martin Eagan leads with humility, integrity, and an enduring sense of purpose.
